Functional Nutrition Testing

FIT Test

Food sensitivities affect more than 100 million people worldwide. Food sensitivities cause a range of illness and symptoms, including skin rashes and chronic intestinal diseases. The FIT Test is a patented, multi-pathway delayed food sensitivity test. The test uses new technology that measures both IgG and Immune Complexes, the most common food-related pathways in the body. The FIT Test measures sensitivities to up to 132 different foods and additives spanning all major food groups.

Cellular Nutrition Assays

Many individuals are exceeding their calorie needs but still not meeting their requirements for essential vitamins and minerals. Metabolism happens within cells. Cells need nutrients to be metabolically active. The Cellular Micronutrient Assay (CMA) is your tool to assess and address insufficiencies in micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) as well as amino acids, and other nutrients within immune cells. This is a reflection of long-term nutrient status not just a “snapshot” as is seen in serum nutrient tests.

Wellness Testing

Now more than ever, the importance of assessing wellness is becoming recognized as central to our ability both to fend off infectious diseases and to protect against future chronic illnesses.

The adrenal, thyroid, and sex hormones work in concert with each other to maintain a state of balance in the body. When one or more hormones are outside optimal ranges, this affects the harmony of the whole system.

Outdoor Fitness

The Wellness Metrics Profile identifies specific imbalances of one or more hormones that govern key aspects of our health, contributing to immunity, mood changes, energy, libido, altered metabolism, increased body fat deposition, and food/sugar cravings, and includes tests identifying increased risks for cardiometabolic disease and diabetes. The optional add-ons give a fuller picture when there are thyroid issues or symptoms of insulin resistance/metabolic syndrome.
