Adrenal, Thyroid, & Hormone Support

Hormones are your body's chemical messengers that serve as a form of communication between different organs and tissues.  They regulate physiological function and behavioral activities including digestion, metabolism, respiration, tissue function, sensory perception, sleep, excretion, lactation, stress, growth and development, movement, reproduction, and mood.  The brain is a target for many of the hormones, and it regulates the secretion of these hormones.  Too much or too little of a hormone can be serious because it only takes a small amount to cause major changes n cells or even the whole body.

The adrenal glands are located on top of each kidney. They produce hormones that one can’t live without, including sex hormones and cortisol that helps you respond to stress and many other important functions. Adrenal gland disorders are conditions that interfere with the normal functioning of the adrenal glands from deficiencies in the availability of steroids. The adrenal cortex produces cortisol, a hormone that regulates nearly every type of organ and tissue within the body.

The thyroid is in the neck below the Adam's apple.  It secretes hormones that influence metabolism, growth, development, and body temperature.  The health of the thyroid is vital for hormones to be correctly regulated throughout the body.
