Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath. Commonly referred to as “flow” yoga.
Vinyasa classes offer a variety of postures and no two classes are ever alike.
The variable nature of Vinyasa Yoga helps to develop a more balanced body as well as prevent repetitive motion injuries that can happen if you are always doing the same thing every day.
As a philosophy, Vinyasa recognizes the temporary nature of things. We enter into a posture, are there for a while and then leave.
Flow Yoga Class: 4:30pm-5:45pm
A creative, uplifting yoga class where poses are linked with breathing. We begin with warming the body then flow into a series of suggested poses that target strength, alignment, and flexibility. We conclude with stretches, a moment of self-reflection, and rest in savasana. Pose modifications are presented that allow you to respect how your body is feeling. This class builds internal heat to detoxify your body and leave you feeling energized and nourished. Bring a mat, if you have one, and a bottle of water.
Slow Flow Yoga Class: 6:00pm-7:15pm
A gentle yoga class that begins by warming the body with soft, flowing poses that strengthen as well as encourage mobility and stability for your body. We interweave moments of being supported by a bolster and melting into stretching, resting poses while reflecting on a mantra or your breathing. Pose modifications are presented that allow you to respect how your body is feeling. Connecting warm lights, peaceful music, diffused essential oils, soft motion, and breathing, we create a calm, balanced, revived feeling. Bring a mat, if you have one, and a bottle of water.
